MXBackup is a system of servers in the internet
at two different data centres that sit and wait
for your email to be undeliverable and then accept
that
mail for
you
until your own mail service is restored, its a
store and forward system, you cant access it like
webmail,
but you mail is safe and will be delivered as soon
as your mailserver appears back online.
There are
no changes to your infrastructure or domain, simply
add a couple of additional MX records
to your DNS Zone with higher weight levels, as
soon as your server is offline, sending mailservers
will
automatically
send to the next mailserver in line.
