We can be used as independent third party to monitor,
assess, mediate or arbitrate between yourselves and
the suppliers from the early stages in the project
so you
have an
independent opinion as to the path your following.
APEX is able to provide help and assistance dealing
with policies and methods for disaster recovery, data
redundancy, backup and data security, virus and malware
prevention and dealing with spam and unwanted mail.
We also offer advise and expertise on website hosting,
optimisation, design and website implementation, e-commerce
and many other business related web activities.
We have a realistic hourly rate for consultancy and
provide

time and
advice

obligation.

Project
Management:

You have your system in mind
but how do you implement it? Do you just trust the
supplier to ensure all aspects of the system are delivered
to
specification, budget and timescale?
APEX Computer Technology can provide
that Project Management facility for you, monitoring
all aspects of the project and co-ordinating the
communications so you can get on with doing business
without worrying.
We can utilise project management tools
for planning and monitoring all aspects of the project,
with many years experience, project managing installations
and maintenance of system for the police, fire and
aviation authorities we are well qualified for the
task.

Support:

APEX Computer Technology is happy to
provide ad-hoc or 'pay as you go' support
for medium and small businesses
in and around the south.
We provide a 5 day week facility to respond to calls
for support, in some cases we can do this over the
phone helping the end user to either fix the problem
or determine if a call-out is required for APEX Computer
Technology to attend the customer site.
We have a sensible local charge call for phone assistance
with an 0845 number, this is not a premium rate number
so don't be concerned about calling us, if we require
to attend your site the first hour is included in the
call-out fee. subsequent hours are cheaper. Please
call for more details on charges.

Contracted
Support:

APEX Computer Technology also offer
ongoing quarterly or annual contracted support, we
will endeavour
to support our contracted customers more promptly either
on two plans;
1) Same Business Day - usually within 4 hours
of the first call to us from
the customer.
2) Next Business
Day - usually within 8 hours of the first call sometimes much less.
Each plan provides a number of 'use them or lose them' hours per quarter for
the customer to request support either for a broken or faulty system, there is
no call-out penalty and if the customer uses all the allotted hours the subsequent
hourly rate is much reduced from normal.
The customer has the option of paying quarterly or annually in advance of the
support period and is provided with a contract and schedule so that all the charges
and terms and condition are available.
Note: Support, contracted
or ad-hoc is provided to the customer to aid the customer
in keeping their systems running
effectively, it is not maintenance; we do don't look
after your systems and work pro-actively to keep your
systems optimised. Its reactive support to problems
you encounter.

Maintenance: |

APEX Computer Technology is happy to
provide Pro-Active maintenance of your systems, looking
at aspects like
disaster recover,
data security, backups and virus prevention.
APEX Computer Technology will setup a direct VPN link
to your site so we can remotely monitor and update
systems mostly out
of hours so you can continue doing business as usual.
We work on the basis of pro-active maintenance with
minimal impact.
We will check service packs and updates are installed,
backups are being completed successfully. System loading
is nominal and check disk usage levels and look at
the general health of the system. We will provide
observations and recommendations to keep the systems
running smoothly and offer advice on best practices
for the system you have.
Maintenance charges depend on the system you have
and budget you can afford by providing a fixed number
of hours maintenance per month for us to carry out
the work either remotely or on your site, there are
no
call-out charges for this. In addition you may wish
to 'maintenance-in' our services for fixed days per
week, month or quarter as desired at special day rates.
